Okay, there were still a lot of laughs, which I need to remember after that heart-wrenching episode.
So a few of my faves.
When Lucifer arrives, or more like staggers onto the crime scene and sees the zombie Priest, he starts to do the sign of the cross, but before finishing waves him off and belches really loudly as he staggers away. That cracked me up.
Chloe: You look like Hell
Lucifer: imitates a rim shot, "not heard that before."
Lucifer: "What murder are we solving today? I mean
everyone
here looks dead".
Chloe: "Pull yourself together, you look like a homeless magician."
Also thought it was funny that the bride was a big time "Hollywood Makeup Artist" who caused jealousy among her bridesmaids for being too "perfect".
And even when Lucifer's drunk and acting like a fool, he still manages to do some "detectiving" and get a lead from the zombie bridesmaid.
After Chloe interrupts Lucifer making out with bridesmaid:
Lucifer: Detective, I found you a lead!
Chloe: Where, in her mouth?
Lucifer: Yes! Actually. Imagine what I can find in other orifices!
Oh, and I really liked when he ripped the door handles off the door of the interrogation room and used them to threaten the suspect.
Also when he punches Dan in the nose. As much as I like Dan's character, I have to say that was fun. I like no-inhibitions Lucifer.
Trixie's President of Mars costume was pretty awesome and a nice nod back to "Pops".
And when Maze shows Trixie her true face (with trepidation) and Trixie says, "cool!" Just the opposite of what happened with Linda and Lucifer. And dang, now we're back to the heartbreak.

All that you've posted, especially punching Dan in the nose))) Lucifer always stands his ground.
I'd also add to the list dialogues between Mum and A, I'm mesmerized by this woman and I like that A's tender personality doesn't correspondent with his intimidating physical form.

He played a really believable drunk, didn't he? Usually when I'm watching an actor do that, I'm so aware they're actingbut it never even occurred to me that Tom was acting, that's how good he is.

Such a good point. DB had some really moving moments last night. I think he's underrated as an actor. He and Mom have great chemistry.

I've seen him in Suits and Halt and Catch Fire before, didn't like either of the roles, but here he really shows range and depths of his character. I like this vulnerable side of him more than a pesky persona from the first season. And humorous scenes with him are just precious!

I liked how after Tom finishes tying one on, and finally takes Chloe's words to heart about talking to someone, that he got super cleaned up to go see Linda. I mean he was about as impeccable as it gets. It really shows how much he was hoping for her approval.
Just to be crushed.
It's so sad, too, that he can't share his pain with Chloe, knowing that she doesn't believe him and in his mind will NEVER be able to understand. I hope that gets rectified soon-ish.

lollast thing anyone would take seriously, considering the context. I found that whole zombie wedding scene to be funny on so many levels.

Chloe:
I know, but I'll never find a sitter this late. And trick-or-treating is really important to Trixie, Maze. Will you please take her for me?
Maze:
Sure, I'll take your offspring for a walk.
Chloe:
Well, she's not a dog, but thank you.
Chloe:
Okay, don't let her out of your sight, please check her candy, and take her early, like 3:00.
Maze:
Great. Best after-parties don't start till 3:00 anyway.
Chloe:
Not 3:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m.

A favorite I just remembered was an awesome scene that I didn't fully catch at first.
So Dan comes in griping about not being able to get the files because of new HIPPA laws. Lucifer uses that opportunity to give him a gigantic hug and simultaneously let Chloe know he doesn't want to talk about his feelings before walking away. I thought that was it, the whole point. But a few moments later, Lucifer comes back with the files they need. While he was hugging Daniel, he actually stole both his badge and his gun.
That scene definitely shows the always-two-steps-ahead Lucifer that I love so much.

Loved the last scene at the zombie wedding when Chloe is literally dragging Lucifer away, Lucifer does the, "call me," thing to the bridesmaid, and Chloe lets him smack into a table as a result, his "easy Detective," in reply on the way out! Teehee. He so deserved that.
