Emasculate the Asian guy

There's no reason for the entire cast to act as Barry's backup every episode. Just once I'd love Joe to be on stakeout, Iris caring for a neighbor's kid, or Cisco on a date. I'd make it easier to think these people exist when they aren't helping Barry. Caitlin's mom is coming and I will scream if she ends up at Star Labs. I know shows have budgets, but lets get more sets than Star Labs, Jitters, Barry's place, CCPD, Picture News, and Jitters. Or just make better use of them.
I read that AOS has a problem with killing off their non-Asian minorities.

I admit I do not watch the show. I can't complain about the depiction of Blacks on the shows I watch, their actually pretty forward thinking. I think it's odd I haven't seen a fictional black couple on a date in a very long time, but it's kind of nice that when a show has two black people you know they won't automatically get paired up.

Here's the thing about AoS - they have a TON of minority actors in lead roles, so they do kill off a lot of POCs, but that's kind of inevitable when they have so many POCs on the show.
They also kill off a lot of white people. They killed off the two pretty white leading men last season and kept the two Asian women and the black guy alive. In fact, the only white guys on the show are Phil Coulson (the older man from the avengers movies) and Leo Fitz (the younger Scottish scientist character). It was actually quite a big shock, because literally no other show would kill off their two big heartthrobs, but they went there. In their place, they hired a Mexican guy to play Ghost Rider.
(It helps the showrunner is an Asian woman) -

Well, this thread was about emasculating the Asian guy, so obviously it's going to be about race. I mean, I'm guessing the OP is ethnic (maybe Asian?) and so it's an important issue to them, in which case, IMO it's kind of rude for you to say it's wrong for them to be fixated for how their people are represented on tv. They're allowed to be concerned, you don't have to join the conversation.
And I'm guessing you're white, which is why you think people focus too much on race? If you were POC, you probably would think people didn't focus enough on race, because you'd been misrepresented in media a lot. In any event, if it's not an interesting discussion to you, why are you posting on this thread? Kind of douche move to insert yourself into a conversation just to imply its topic is irrelevant. Like, why bother? -

Considering the age of the source material I was impressed when the series added Fish and then Tabitha and later Strange with Fox. But it's business as usual. The white guys get their pick of all the women.
Fox has had 0 love interests. Even the creepy Edward had a gf.
They could have at least made the Asian guy suave while still wanting to sleep with her. No, he was played as a creep. Then Jim reeking of testosterone runs him off.
Tabitha(BF) gets with Butch (WM) and Barbara (WF).
Fish Mooney (BF) pursued by Butch (WM) and Bullock (WM). I think Alfred flirted with her as well.
Miss Vale (AF) purused by Gordon (WM).
I wish Asian males could afford to turn down roles, but they have bills like everyone else. Asians are also absent from the WB DC shows. Pathetic.

Why wouldn't she be? Mr. Vale, a white man, impregnates an Asian woman and a white woman.
The Asian woman births Valerie. Valerie Vale is Jim's gf and reporter.
Mr. Vale's son impregnates a white woman creating Vicki Vale, Valerie's niece.

Remember how they also emasculated BD Wong with the white woman on the video communication before Arkham needed to be evacuated. Same with the scene with Fish Mooney when he was in his cell. They basically turned him into a beta whimp, especially when facing female characters.

I know Asian men have rarely been depicted as attractive and I can connect with that. Although I am not Asian, I am thin and lanky and I know how it's seeing men who look like you being regularely dismissed. Whenever a male is not 'ripped', they put him as a side villain or a 'cute' sidekick, but never a hero or a love interest. Even 'average' built actors talk about pressure of getting fitter for shirtless scenes, even if they are playing nerdy or passive people. It's never same with women: Keira Knightley and Angelina Jolie can be leading ladies and desired by men. Same with Asians; women can be presented as desirable (e. i. Jamie Chung), but men very rarely. I wish several standards could be more diverse.

The f!#&"?! People date whoever they want. Deal with it.
Edit: I'll go on further to reply to your race-baiting tropic;
Asian women are beautiful and white guys love Asian women so what, are you against interracial couples? Nonsense. And I'll say it again: People date whoever they want. Deal with it.
If this show isn't romantically up your alley then you always have the CW teen-drama shows to fill your needs. -

I have no problem with IR couples. I have a definite problem with the depiction of minority men, especially Asian men. White writers, producers, and casting directors have no problem showing white men bedding and romancing women all across the racial spectrum.
But when it comes to Asian, Black, or Hispanic men they are neutered and presented as non-sexual. WM/BF are the least common IR pairing in America, would not know it from Gotham where every Black woman has had a dalliance with a white man.
If White men weren't pushing the we're the best, sleep with us agenda we'd see
Lucius and Tabitha - Most blacks marry other blacks.
Lucius and Barbara - Black male and white female is fairly common.
Long before we'd see Butch and Tabitha/Fish. Though both are light skinned which white guys will date publicly in a pinch. You'd never see white guys on Gotham pursuing a woman as dark as Hugo's assistant.
Jim/Vale - Typical. White man is strong and assertive. Asian man - not trustworthy and desperate for sex.
Amerikkka.
Where are the Asian characters DC WB? -

Hugo Strange and Vale? He loves to use humans as his guinea pigs than actually being emotional and show affection for a person.
It really makes no sense to want Hugo Strange and Vale together just because they're Asian. They have no chemistry together.
