But maybe bad masochists get sent to Heaven, where they can never be tortured. Only good masochists get to go to Hell.
(Seems the logistics of this could get complicated)

I think you're on to something there. Masochist who were good souls get to go to Hell and the bad ones go to Heaven where they can't torture themselves. Same for Emos! Bad Emos go to Heaven where everything is perfect and happy and the the good ones go to Hell where everything sucks.

As I said, the logistics could get complicated. Extensive interviewing could be required to determine who should go where. Maybe Lucifer didn't leave Hell to escape the cries of the damned so much as the tedium of the bureaucracy.

Speaking only for myself: It's God's goodness I'm putting my faith in, not my own.

If there is a Hell I'm just hoping there are different levels, because when I get there I'm going to be seriously pissed off if I find out it's one size fits all.
LOL! Thank you! That seriously cracked me up and I needed that!

I believe in God and I believe (hope) that when I die,I will live again as a new person. If there is a heaven and hell,I believe that it is by our our actions, that we decide if it is one or the other and not God.
              free will and all
imperfection is an altogether attainable human goal, and love is acceptance of imperfections.

No one knows for sure until the time comes. But the common factor is they all claim the good will be rewarded, while the wicked will be punished.
Unfortunately in Christianity, not only do you have to be good, but you have to profess acceptance of Jesus as your lord and savior, or you go to hell (or maybe purgatory if that is a real place).
Only two things are factual we live and we die. What happens after that no one knows.

Thats rather a blanket statement, not all Christians believe the same way. To me accepting Jesus means accepting salvation as gift that I have not earned. I know Im no better than anyone else. I try to be good (and often fail and try again) in reaction to that gift not in order to achieve it. But, I do not believe those who have chosen a different path are going to Hell.

Doesn't matter what you or I believe. Pretty that is 100% canon across the board in all LEGITIMATE Christian faiths from Catholism. to Seventh Day Aventist.
Doesn't matter your (not you specifically) personal opinions or beliefs. By legitimate, I mean to ensure the discussion doesn't divert to "progressive" churches that break from norm.
Anyway I am not going to get into a Christian discussion as it never ends well with all involved.
I'd rather stick to the comics and the TV show.

                      Salvation offered freely
                      is
LEGITIMATE cannon across many mainline Christian faiths. It's not an idea of a few progressive breakaway churches.
Doesn't matter your (not you specifically) personal opinions or beliefs.
                      The OP posted about what
                      people
believe. IMO that leaves the discussion open to personal opinions or beliefs as much as to institutions.
Anyway I am not going to get into a Christian discussion as it never ends well with all involved.
Fair enough but there are times when people make a statement about what Christian's believe that I can't just let it stand as if all of us believe this way.

Exactly what point are you trying to make or detract?

One person's god or gods is not another person's.
One person's version of an afterlife is not the same as anothers'.
Even Christians disagree with one another.
I read about a poll they did earlier this year and in it, the majority of Christians polled said they believe that almost everyone will go to heaven.
"Can you keep a secret? Can you know something and never speak of it again?"
