Well in the article about Lucifer (that one of you linked on here) it used crush in the present tense because the reporter says that it must be awkward for the actress you have a crush on to be your mom.
Lucifer's supposed to be thrown by Mom's appearance because normally she'd be someone he'd go to bed with, but she's his mother. That's got to be disconcerting.
That kinda does make sense especially when the body is not his mom. She's just inhabiting it.
I try to live without regret but I'm about to break a sweat.

Maybe that's why Uriel shows up - he has to take mom back.
Is it possible someone else escaped hell at the same time mom did? They hinted at a big bad awhile ago - unless it will be one of the siblings fallen or not.
Did you believe mum and her she sent Luci to hell story to keep him from being killed by dad? I didn't. She may love them but I think she is at the same time going to manipulate them to get her revenge against hubby.

No, I didn't believe her, not totally. In every lie there can be found a grain of truth. I think it's her version of
        some
of the events. And yes, she is manipulating Lucifer against her husband, but to what end?

I don't know if I believe it or not. But Lucifer did.
I'm having a hard time believing that God is that much of an a-hole. We never get to hear his side of the story, except via Father Frank. So I'm guessing the whole story may be more complicated than we think. Like in any divorce, each parent blames the other.
I think this is one reason Ella's here. To counter Mom's negative spin on Dad.

Not really it seems odd to me that putting him in hell would protect him. How can he be destroyed up there? Particularly since I thought angels couldn't be hurt even by God.
Plus the fact she was smiling at the sky after makes her seem suspicious..though I know she could be sticking it to him with the truth but it seems more likely to me that someone who's lying would smile like that.

God can destroy angels. God can destroy anything, including the entire universe.
Lucifer was made the ruler of Hell, over damned souls. Souls without bodies can't hurt an archangel who's immortal. And the way Hell works is that the souls design their own punishments, out of guilt or self-loathing or whatever. So that's their sole purpose for being there (pun not intended).

I honestly have no idea if she was telling the truth or not. The upward gaze and mischievous smile at the end of the episode certainly point to no good but then again she did seem taken off guard about Lucie working with God and did seem desperate to find him.

I think that was more malice than mischief.
He's the most likely support from her point of view. She's totally clueless about the modern world and needs a guide. Plus he's already angry at God so it probably wouldn't take much to twist him into helping her with whatever plot she's got going.
A thousand+ years of torture and I'd say there is some sort of plan in place for some serious payback! I'm rather amazed that she just knocked Maz out.

Lucifer has always been insistant that God would be irate if anyone harmed him. He dared Amenadiel a few times, and he backed off. So, no, I don't believe God planned on killing Lucifer.

What if God is not responsible and it has nothing to do with any "fall from grace"? What if it is related to Maze's healing? It's not 100% and he's sort of developing complications?
Here's a thought, they have suggested that Mom and Amenadiel grow closer during the season, what if it is SHE that heals him? That would certainly change the family dynamics. A mother healing her ill son. What could be more powerful?
