I'm not saying that these were horrible movies. I am only saying that in my opinion, the books were so much better.
Most books, no matter who wrote them, are so much better.
A better subject would be, Books that stink compared to their movie adaptations.

there are a few movies and shows that come to mind when i think of how much better they were than their source material
