yes, idk what her dad's deal is but i think Miley's uncompromisingly independent personality is strong and capable enough to weather all that **** she surely had and has to deal with from her dad and in that business and seemingly without suffering too much mentally. when she did that image reinvention, i wasn't always a fan of her decisions, like that queer baiting stuff, but she did what she had to do to outgrow her Hannah Montana persona and is still popular, relevant and successful which i respect.
another one who has had a bad public image and took a lot of **** from media and men bc of that but turned out well after all is Pamela Anderson. i've seen her in her last film

and she's amazing, as a serious actress, and basically playing herself. it was an award worthy performance which brought her much critical acclaim and i have infinite respect for her.

Idk if he's known at all in Germany (kinda hope not for your sake), but over here he's considered something of a joke, a symbol of everything wrong with American music before grunge got popular and rescued it. He's tried tons of things to stay relevant and none of it has worked, except very briefly with the Lil Nas X thing. But yeah, his hometown is near mine. I used to play music in some of the same bars he played when he was starting out. Anyway, he still has property in the area and his former maintenance guy says he's a giant prick.

no, Miley's dad isn't very well-known here nor any of his drama lol but i know his name and what kind of music he makes. never really listened to anything tho. but Miley is also a superstar here and everyone knows her and of her former Hannah Montana fame. she made the headlines recently with that upcoming Hannah Montana 20th anniversary happening she is planning, whatever that is gonna be like.

It was a long time ago when I saw it but l LOVED Britney in Crossroads. Of course it was given a bad rating but I really thought she was amazing in it. I wonder if it really hit home for her since her tears seemed so genuine. I cried too
