"The Fog." I just love the spooky atmosphere of that movie, the cinematography, the musical score, everything. Just the perfect ghost story.
I love pretty much every Carpenter movie, except for "Dark Star" (just too trippy) and "Ghosts of Mars" (awful story structure and Ice Cube).
My Top 3 favorites are "The Fog," "Halloween," and "Vampires." -

Yeah thats also my favourites i could make it a top 5 to add halloween and some other, the thing is awesome! carpenter now lost its touch maybe he should go independent and do whatever he wants in his movies like in the past, maybe he starts doing something right.

Halloween from what I've seen (which is more than half his films). It's very flawed, no doubt, but it holds a special place in my heart as it was one of the first horror films I ever saw, and I loved it as a young teen.

Big Trouble in Little China. Excellent, hilarious, holds up beautifully!
