Im finding it impossible to choose just one so..
        1, The Thing
2, Big Trouble in Little China
        3, They Live!
I have a real soft spot for They Live.

Yeah thats also my favourites i could make it a top 5 to add halloween and some other, the thing is awesome! carpenter now lost its touch maybe he should go independent and do whatever he wants in his movies like in the past, maybe he starts doing something right.

I completely agree, he should just do what he wants. He already took a long break from making movies after ghosts of mars. I'm just hoping the ward is good.

For me the winner is The Thing.

Halloween from what I've seen (which is more than half his films). It's very flawed, no doubt, but it holds a special place in my heart as it was one of the first horror films I ever saw, and I loved it as a young teen.

Prince of Darkness for me After all those years, the dream scene in the movie is still one of the most horrifying and impressive things I've seen.

Halloween is his best, The Fog is quite good, and The Ward seems to be better than films like They Live and Escape from New York

Close call between Halloween and The Thing but I'll give it to Halloween because of the music.

THEY LIVE, mosdef. No other film in modern history contains more macho bravado classic lines like this film. The whole film is like the Bible to me.
