      Scream 4 was not going to be it for him, and he was considering directing new movies. He actually was interested in directing a final Elm Street movie, but because Platinum Dunes owned the rights, Wes knew that the chance was slim.
      I linked to this interview with Wes where he mentioned Elm Street, and how he'd like to return for one final go.

            Found the interview with Wes from February 2014 where he mentions wanting to direct a new Elm Street if the script is good and if approached by Warner Brothers. He states he would only do the movie with Robert returning!
