My birthday is in September. I feel I should've been born a month later.
I usually hate September, but this year, with no current tropical threats and the weather's gonna calm the **** down (not as hot. Lows are gonna be in the mid 60s) I just feel good about Fall coming soon. -

It's gonna be 91, so hot, but after the hotter than usual last 2 years, that doesn't seem bad.
Also supposed to get in the mid 80's as far as highs go, which is warm, but not bad for August in Louisiana. -

There is a very large pumpkin festival in a nearby town, which is why I think they got the idea.

The same town has a pumpkin shaped water tower and a bar called the Pumpkin Inn, which used to bring in some decent bands like a decade ago.

That reminds me. The unincorporated area I spent my childhood in was called Pumpkin Center. So appropriate given my longtime love of Halloween and spooky stuff.
Oh, I also lived in a hick town for a couple years on a road called Blood River Rd. Lol
That's the only thing I liked about living there. -

So this will sound like bullshit, but near the the town I'm talking about is a Hitler Road. The Hitlers (unrelated apparently) were among the early residents of the community. And get this⦠one of them was named, I swear to God I'm not making this up, Gay Hitler
