I would say real Pepsi is sweeter than Coke. It has marginally higher cals too.

I think Pepsi is sweeter than Coke. With Coke, you can taste more individual flavours, but with Pepsi, it tastes overwhelming like sweetness without any flavours.
I don't drink sugary drinks very often either. I might get a diet Pepsi if I'm out at a restaurant, but usually it's club soda with lime.

I used to buy a case of diet Pepsi cans every week. It had to be cans and not bottles. I'm convinced the cans keep the soda colder.

The only diet soda I quite like is the cherry flavoured Pepsi max they serve at cineworld here.

I don't think I've seen cherry flavoured Pepsi. I would sometimes get a hankering for vanilla Coke, but I've had the real deal made with fountain coke and vanilla syrup so it spoiled me for anything else.
