As corny as it sounds, today is my 3 year "anniversary" with Ewan. [laughs] Ah yes exactly 3 years ago today, I watched

Everyone's stories are so damn cute! haha wow I can't believe the number of years for all of you and I've only got 3 under my belt. And to who ever said "I like have actors all to myself" (I'm sorry I'm7ec writing the reply and too lazy to go see who it was) Yes it certainly is! I was telling my mom that he was just on Letterman the other day and then ellen yesterday and she said "What? He is trying to be an actor now?" and I'm like "Mom! He's done other talk shows"
More and more people are finding out about himI'm not liking it. No no I'm kinding but it is funny though, my uncle called me before and said "I just finished listening to the radio and their was an interview on with your friend Ewan McGregor" and I'm like "WHAT STATION!" he said "I listened to it during the day, he seems like a pretty good guy. He didn't sound like a jerk at all. He was very nice and cool." I'm like "That's my Ewan!"
My uncle said they talked about Othello alot, and like every one of his movies. He said that Ewan said his favorite at the moment is when he plays a gay lover. I said "Yeah thats 'I Love You Phillip Morris'" He wants to see it now. Then my uncle finally says, "hes been in SO many movies" and I said "Yup, and I've seen them all."
Oh Ewan McGregor, why must you be so adorably perfect?

Well, I experienced the 60s, so I'm much older than you. Therefore, I have loved Ewan McGregor since the brilliant and disturbing little film called "Trainspotters." And the other day I realized that he did much of the solo singing in "Moulin Rouge" and almost died of love. What a voice. The Celts are notable for their singing, and that beautiful man from Glasgow (who did an amazing interview with Craig Ferguson, also Glaswegean recently)is no exception to the rule. The Scots may not be as famous for their singing as the Irish and the Welsh, but Ewan blew me away with his voice! Check out the soundtrack to that movie. I guarantee you'll be a puddle on the floor when he sings "This is Your Song" by Elton John, or some hack pianist like that. LOL

Hmmm for as long as I can remember! I don't even know when it started, probably with Trainspotting but I was too young to really get that film - just thought he was pretty! He's always been one of my favourite actors, can't pin-point from when. I've only really appreciated it as I've got older though, and watched back at older stuff like Shallow Grave and Life Less Ordinary. Just brilliant.

Only just recently (the past 12 months or so) since rediscovering my complete Star Wars obsession. (Complete SciFi geek)
And seeing how long some of you have been nutty about him makes me feel like a little kid. (I recently turned 20!) -

I think it was Big Fish for me when it first came out, but I've crazy about him for so long that I can't remember if it was before that, lol. I think he's the b68only actor where I've seen almost everything he's ever made, even the really old obscure ones. He is definitely my favorite actor of all time. Down With Love is definitely up there in my fav.'s of his, but I think Trainspotting and Moulin Rouge are probably tied for first

"I'm a rooster illusion."

never paid him too much attention until recently I watched Moulin Rouge and Boom! I was in 7th heaven, then I heard about his many coughs talents lol so I watched Young Adam, and I seriously believe he is God's ultimate creation.
