i really wasnt implying or saying that she wud be a tramp cuz she played a child prostitute. if u read what i said.. i said becuz she was in the limelight and compounded by hollywood lifestyle.. so many young ones turn out to be promiscuos i mean look. even if they marry.. it isnt long before it is annulled or they get a divorce.. or cheat etc..
i was surprized.. as many others were .. that she kept her virginity for that long..

i dont mean to be nasty .. if thats how u took it.
its becuz i thought brooke being 12 yrs old and nude .. in any form.. in the film .. was something a perve wud probly wana get off on.. i am happy there are others who do not have this perspective. like urself.. thinking it was tasteful.. i have no prob with ur opinion.. i just think if a perv thinks or hears theres guna be a underage girl in a film nude! - he will watch it.. which shows that Brookes mom letting her do this.. would have opened the doors to some real perv's watching or being obsessed with her.. we have never heard anything bad that has happened to it becuz of it.. which is good.. but hey what about those pageant lil girls with makeup that so many ppl r upset about.. those lil girls arent nude.. and yet ppl r worried bout those lil ones being victims of perv's.

I don't see nothing wrong with her nude scenes in that flick if they serve the story properly, after all it's a story that need to be told the right way, not with 1 year olds pretending to be 11 or stuff. But I gotta say her nude photos taken when she was 8 could definitely be considered child porn, i'm actually surprised they were ruled as not child porn by a judge: the intention in that work was definitely to sexualize her image, so that can count as child porn, wether their parents agreed or not has nothin to do with it. Some guy said porn always involves sexual relations, that's not true, otherwise there wouldn't be the definition of "soft porn".

wait how are those pics automatically child porn? what so you can't take a nude picture of a child model ever? and I really dont' understand why brooke had to go to legal lengths to prove that some of her character's nudity scenes or sex scenes were not her in the blue lagoon because she was underage? I mean she was nude in pretty baby and as long as her parent gave her permission to do those nudity and sex scenes then why was it a problem?

What do you mean?? It can be tasteful If it's done right. Properly distilled and filtered, some flavor added, and moonshine is practically impossible to tell apart from some generic liquor.
And pervs can look at anything in a nasty way. It's how normal people see it that matters. If the story supports it It's ok.

i am happy that u like brooke so much and that this movie had a special meaning and place with u.. i know some movies just affect us more than others and do resinate with us.. i have ones like that too. so i can appreciate that.
i guess i am just super-sensitive to the whole kids nude thing.. i have had my own bad experiences in life that make me feel this way but thats my bag.. i guess thats why i said what i said.
i just feel like i wudnt allow my child to be in a situation where she or he had to strip down.. for whatever the artistic appreciation may be. seems too extreme.. thats my feelings.
