Had to think about that one,and since they are 2 of the most beautiful chicks in Hollywood,it's a tie for me.These chicks are 2 sides of the hottest coin ever.

Ask this question on Charlize Theron's IMDB board and you'll get a response skewed greatly to Charlize's side.
I posted a long article on why I think Kate is only marginally attractive but it apparently has been purged through time. A former girlfriend of mine used to say, "You know (this or that actress) is good looking but there is just something wrong with her looks." After giving it much thought, Kate fits in here. It may be her wide spaced eyes or her lack of smiling in movies or the vacant look she generally has. She has nice hair and a slender frame but I get only a small sexual kick from her body. She appears incapable of acting in a sexual way.
As an apologist turned authority I don't defend my comments because I am always right. -

Theron wasn't supposed to be a sex-pot in Cider House Rules, she was still a fairly young lady in a conservative time and in a difficult situation. Seems like most of Kate's roles are meant to show her off as a really hot chick. Apples and Oranges.
I really don't care who is prettier, this is all just in fun, but using Cider House as a way to evaluate CT's appearance seems silly.
I'm not a woman much less Deanna Durbin, but the old-time glam-shot appeals to me. -

Of course, "Cider House" was a PG-13 flick so the filmmakers had to be tactful in how they portrayed Candy in that particular scene or they'd be slapped with an R rating, which would decrease the film's box office take. As such, she could only be so sexy in that sequence.
I suppose that if Charlize were depicted in a alluring manner like Kate often is she'd be about on par with her, as far as sexiness goes. It all comes down to taste; and I give Kate a slight edge.

I have no problem giving Kate the sexiness edge. I just thought judging Charlz by Cider House just seemed odd. Even in a role like in Pearl Harbor, Kate still had the opportunity to be a bit more glamorous, just because the way the film was made. I'm thinking Lasse Halmstrom (is that right?) wanted CT to be pretty, not sexy. Most of Kate's roles seem to tout her sexiness.

Yeah, even movies like "Whiteout" where she's a scientist in the freakin' Antarctic. But they didn't overdo it; it was just one scene (the fridge scene). And I think it conveys a good 'message': Even a proper citizen and serious professional can have an alluring side; and even more so when you're talking about someone who looks like Kate.

Well, I havent this in my mindlol. Maybe the or would be better. But this would be also a good competition, although I dont give many possibilities to Kate. She looks so delicate and Charlize so strong.
