The Political Beltran

Sorry, I don't agree. I consider myself a (UK) Conservative voter, but I don't agree with every one of their ideas/policies. It is possible to take what you find good about a stance and support it while not agreeing with everything. The day a political party/ethos manages to come up with a 100%supportable manifesto is the day pink things that go 'Oink!' will take to the skies grin I'm sure there are large parts of what LaRouche touts that Beltran doesn't support or agree with, but that doesn't mean he can't see some ideas that appeal to him overall

Wellanother insane one named Hitler had a youth movement too.
It is very common for political parties to have their own youth groups/movements, at least in europe, who have their meetings and are going on the streets talking with ppl, giving flyers ect. ect.!
That has nothing to do with Hitler and any comparison only shows ignorance.
Not many in the age of 18 and younger are interested into politics and we all can be glad if there are some who CARE about that what is going on on this world.
And we can be proud of them for having the guts to talk with people and that they are able to think on their own, instead of swimming with the mainstream and swallowing down anything that's served from manipulated medias.
What Robert Beltran is doing with his Drama Workshops is wonderful, he is a big help for them. In this organisation they not only try to save what others distroy, but also they try to become better people. They are working hard to find out who they truely are and want to help others to find their own, true, way.
Wake up sleepers, before it's too late!

Very well said, i agree with you 100%.
Though a discussion with people who believe any beep rumor and make their minds up before knowing/understanding all facts is not worth the effort.
It's not that they can't understand but rather don't want to and would defend their crap even if you give them facts and have better arguments.
Especially on anonymouse messageboards discussions are difficulty to do, most prefer to attack instead. Give your statement and leave it by that, best you can do. IMHO -

Here is an incredibly long article on the LaRouche movement, if anyone cares to read it.
It perfectly sums up "why" this LaRouche stuff is so crazy. Although long, I actually found it quite fascinating and disturbing.

"It's a nutjob group and anyone who belongs to a Nutjob group thusly gets the title of being one..He is a perfect example of a leftist."
No, he is not a "perfect example of a leftist". I am a major leftist myself, and I find this LaRouche stuff appalling.
Oh, and if you'd read the article I posted the link to, you'd see that LaRouche has actually aligned himself quite a bit with the right, particularly during the Reagan yearsso you can stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

I read it. And about 2 seconds of using my powers of GoogleFu turned up this:
The article that you have referred me too was published in a publication that is owned/run/controlled by "LaRouche Publications".
So, um.nice try, I guess. -

This is the copy of the Metropolitan Police report, I'm sure that you didn't dare to read this.
And it does surprise me that you needed GOOGLE to find out that it is from a LaRouche newspaper, since the URL shows it clearly.

"Lyndon LaDouche is a commie, and like all commies, b68needs to be eliminated! GO McCARTHY!!" - leosgr8
LOL. Nice satire!
Of course LaRouche isn't a Communist, and most Marxists at least do not particularly like him or his politics. Some don't dislike him, but many do. Either way he is a "Liberal" and "Reformist" not a "Leftist" in the correct sense (AKA more akin to Karl Marx and William Morris than, say, President Obama or Jimmy Carter).
I'm a Marxist myself.

You are lucky! I saw the workshops on the internet; they're available thru the LaRouche web and the links are also a Roadbe under the video section.
I was particularly impressed with his ability as a coach/director/instructor. I thought he was sensitive and supportive and created a safe space for the young actors to work. It shows that he's a life-long learner, and therefore a good teacher.
I always hope that everyone gets a chance to follow their bliss. I hope he gets the opportunity to do more of what he loves.
I think he put the whole Trek thing in perspective in a Sci-Fi channel chat:
"My family is just happy that I'm working."
It's just a job, and there's nothing wrong with that!
