Although, it states he was born in Texas and I live in Ontario Canada, so maybe it's not true. Unless his mom or someone moved here
    Yay rumours!

The only time I ever met him was at a convention about 9 years ago. He seemed jovial enough, cracking jokes about how he was "lured" to Wichita, Kansas with the promise he could fly some aircraft that he hadn't flown before. When I was in the signing line, he took the time to acknowledge me personally, which was pretty cool.
If all else fails, blame it on someone else.

Yes, I met him last year at a german convention. He was really nice and even attended the party. And he took a picture with me at the party even though I had trill spots all over my face 😉

He's a really nice bloke. I met him about three years ago while he was over here in the UK. He didn't say much, but the guy just had one great big smile constantly plastered across his face. He let me have his autograph and have a photograph with him.

Everything we've ever heard about this guy says that he's a down to earth type pleasent person. People like him who've main success that has come from tv series and not $100 million dollar movies seem to more like the average joe. While he has a recognizable face to fans like you and me. He doesn't have the Tom Cruise recognition, so there are still places in this country where he can pull up a seat in the cafe and still be himself without being malled.

I've met him and he was very kind to me. Also, some friends of mine worked with him on Fallen Angels, a horror movie he just finished filming and had no complaints.

I ran into him at the airport. He was very nice to the check in agents and signed an autograph for my friend.

I met him at a Star Trek convention in the late 80's ('88 or '89 I think). He was pretty cool to talk to. I think he was surprised to meet a fan bigger than him (I'm 6'5" & 265lbs)! Very down to earth guy, not stuck up at all.

I met him twice during the 90's, he's a very nice guy (and a little bit of a flirt, too.lol). I had my young nieces with me one of the times I met him and he was very sweet to them. Just a nice, genuine person.

I met him about fifteen or so years ago at a convention. I was about 13 at the time and he was totally cool. He let my buddy and I get a picture with him. I remember most how funny he was, thinking he missed his calling doing stand-up. Anyway, he was really cool to a couple of geeky kids at a convention.

I have heard that Michael is a nice person. Everything I have read says that he is kind to his fan. I wish I could meet him, myself.

I saw him at a convention when I was about 15. I remember him being a bitI dunno, slightly pompous.
He told one fan who was asking a question during Q&A, "I don't know, sit down!" He said it jokingly and to applause, but it didn't sit too well with me. I also remember my mother told me soon after, "He shouldn't say those kinds of things to people who are paying to see and meet him."
In his defense, however, I don't remember what the fan was asking and I don't remember the context, which may change everything.
Of course, he may have mellowed since because we're talking 1993-94.
When I got his autograph, he signed his autograph and there wasn't much more to it than that. My dad couldn't get a picture, so I went back to shake his hand and take a picture, and he was cool with it.

met him in las vegas last year(2006)..
at the star trek con in the hilton.
Seemed bored off his . to me.
Hes very very tall! I asked him did he ever get sick of the "star trek" fans..
he just smiled, as if to say to me "feck off".
anyway got a pic, even though I cant find it now, not that im really bothered with it.
Met the original crew..great fun!my god, thats nearly a year ago..its on again in a week I think in vegas 2007.

I met him in 1995 when I was stationed at NAS Lemore, CA. He was there for several hours standing on a 1ft high platform getting a flight suit made for him. He was going to fly backseat on a FA-18 to one of the carriers. While standing on the platform that made him even taller, he chatted with the sailors and signed autographs. It was a great moral booster and he was really appreciative of our service and for a ride in the worlds greatest strike fighter. He is a really nice man.

it's so cool to get to talk about this. i hung out with him and with jonathan frake in the mid to late '80s. it was at a jazz club called l.a. nicola. frake played the trombone. i remember it fairly vividly because it was so much fun. the dresden room was nearby and al5b4so fun. anyone in hell lay know if that is still there? anyway, dorn and frake could not have been kinder to me or more enjoyable to be around. i was somewhat hot back then but that wasn't it. more an older brother vibe. i had placed a personal ad and they were worried about me, etc.
So glad that handsome man was on Without a Trace and I got to think about him again. 🙂
