Agreed
maybe when her son's a little older she'll come back. He's only 5. Apparently she still gets sent scripts and reads them, but she doesn't want to go back to acting unless it's for something good. We can keep on dreaming! -

You mean Jennifer Jason Leigh didn't hurt her back? Yea! Just kidding. I've long suffered from a back injury and can't wish that on anyone. Anyway, you're right that I mixed them up and that I am also a fan, though I must admit to liking Jason Leigh's work more.
Come back please, Bridget! -

dont know what you two are going on about, but Ms Fonda DID flip her car and totaled, in 2003. At first it was she only had minor injuries, however, she found out a little later, while in extreme pain, that she had actually fractured a vertebra.

Completely agreed. If she came back to star in any movie I would be compelled to watch it no matter what it is. It's Bridget Fonda lol. "Single White Female" is still one of my favorite movies.
The Phoebe Cates comparison is hilarious lol. Interestingly enough, they both starred in the 1989 movie "Shag" together. I think Fonda still has way more potential left rather than Cates.

Prediction:
Sometime in the near future she will appear in a quality TV series that will rejuvenate her career and show the world how good she can be. TV now has the best roles for actresses of her age, though still not enough.
