a friend and i were just talking today about "Jackie Brown". He guessed she was in her late 20's.. I said 40 (but I already knew she wasn't TOO young because of her early career work). Just found out she was 47/48 during Jackie Brown.. crazy. I'd tell her to grab her ankles in a heartbeat!

I didn't know anything about Pam Grier until a few minutes ago when I read her biography. All I can think to say is, what a woman! She nearly died twice, and she's not only still alive, but healthy. A woman that strong will always have my respect.
