According to IMDB, Bee Movie made less than it cost to make which makes it a failure.
Seinfeld is the weaker of the Larry/Jerry writing duo. But they work better together than apart.
Jerry is one of those people who is simultaneously self-satisfied and self-loathing. That combo can come across like a prick. But he strikes me as someone who is fundamentally afraid. He'd like for people to believe that being a comedian (not a comic) is an act of bravery. But it's not. At all. He married his moral equal, that's for sure.

According to IMDB, Bee Movie made almost double its production cost which makes it a success.
I don't know what statistics you're reading, perhaps you're confusing its $127 million domestic gross with the money it made worldwide. I'm sure you'll be shocked to know that there are other countries outside of the USbut yes it's true.

I'm pretty sure Jerry is one of the good guys. Sure, he's super rich but he can't go ANYWHERE in the U.S. without EVERYBODY saying "Hey Jer" or "Jer, can I get your autograph?" and on and on. He and Larry wrote the Seinfeld show and they reaped their rewards. They made a lot of other people rich too. Show business is tough and I'm sure at times Jerry had to protect what was his and be tough. It doesn't make him a bad person, I'm thinking he's probably a lot like he is in interviews: Funny, engaging, happy, and agreeable. If I saw him in public though, I wouldn't do anything except say "Hey Jer!", then leave him alone and move on.

Nah, Ray Romano is an unfunny **** as well but everything else in your post is correct. Seinfeld is an unfunny scumbag.

Untalented and lucky and not remotely as funny as he has been led to believe - not sure about the postulation of the OP

Everyone seems to be saying this and much of it stems from the Larry King incident. That however was supposed to be a joke that went wrong. On the other hand look at the interview below. This guy doesn't even konw who Jerry Seinfeld is-he gets his name wrong. Yet Seinfeld takes it here.

I doubt it. I hear he's pretty similar to his Jerry character from his Seinfeld sitcom.

Between the way he managed to keep nearly all the profits of Seinfeld for himself (even though he was the show's weakest link), the way he married a woman six months after he met her while she was on her honeymoon with another man, and the way he insulted Missy Lapine after his wife stole her book, I'd say yes, he is a colossal prick.

Hush your mouth! You must bow to Jerry, because while he was the WORST on his own show, you cant say that he was mean! Forget the fact that he was well into his 30's and was dating a 17 year old girl, that dosent count. Forget he met his wife on her honeymoon and then I Guess promised her money and gifts because she got a divorce faster then ever. Then when he NEEDED the actors again, "Suddenly there was money for them to have for the DVDS" because otherwise he didnt care.

I never met Jerry Seinfeld, but I have heard he's a real prick. I wonder who's a bigger prick, Seinfeld or Kevin James.
By the way, you realize as of today, Julia Louis Dreyfus is worth something like $3 BILLION dollars? Doesn't really matter if Seinfeld tried to keep all the money. She was born wealthy.

There's many stories out there about Jerry Seinfeld beingb68 a prick to regular people, whether they are fans or not or his show or his act.
In Jerry Seinfeld's view, if you have not achieved a certain level of success, you are a nobody and don't deserve to be treated with respect.

What, the co-creator, producer, headwriter and leadactor of possibly the most popular sit-com of the nineties earned more than others? Horrors of horrors! And the way he singlehandedly seduced a married woman who, by her own admission was unhappy with the other guy and already regretted it, and no doubt she protested to no avail! The swine! And, let me drop the sarcasm here, there has been written cookbooks like hers since 1971. The idea was neither original or copyrightable.

JS co-created and co-wrote Seinfeld, aside from starring in it. How can the guy who created and wrote it be the weakest link on the show.
He probably earns the most royalties from syndication because, as mentioned, unlike the rest of the cast, he created it

My boyfriend was riding his motorcycle and ended up at a stoplight next to Jerry Se5b4infeld. He started to chat Jerry up while they were stopped and they ended up pulling to the side of the street and having a full conversation.
So, my judgment is that he seems rather nice.
