I am so sad and heartbroken. I grew up watching Gene Wilder movies. He truly was a special person and a wonderful actor. He was a gem and truly one of a kind. No one actor made me laugh as much as he did. It's a sad day for me. Rest in Peace Mr. Wilder.

I'm right there with you Kat.
After my family saw Young Frankenstein in '77 (or 78), sometime
after I saw Willy Wonka on TV and then I really thought he was great.
My brothers and I all agree on many things but no
question, all 4 of us totally love Gene Wilder's comedy and always will.
RIP Gene Wilder.
I usually erase my sig. our of respect for those that have gone
but I know he'd agree with the thought of my signature, so I'll keep it on.

There will never be anyone like him again, he was a one of a kind, talented, and from all accounts a really nice guy.
I love his movies, especially Young Frankenstein, Willy Wonka and The Producers.
After my son saw Willy Wonka when he was little he walked around saying "I said good day sir" over and over. It was pretty funny. -

He was so talented and so much of a part of movies I saw growing up, it hit me hard too. He made so many people so happy and you never saw bad press about him. He was unique and the world is less funny without him.
We have lost so many incredible people this year -

He was one of the especially-talented actors who brought what they call 'heart' to his films. Not just a great actor, but a great actor who could portray great humanity and emotion.
My favorite example of this talent of his is 'The Frisco Kid.' If you haven't watched it yet, you MUST. It is a bit of a lig5b4htweight, silly comedy, but it is full of HEART.- What are you gonna do, when the world catches on?
