Yup!! Met her at the New York Comic Con too. She was autographing and selling photos. She is a very lovely woman.

She has a IMDB credit for the 2010 movie 'Point of Death' as the character 'Girl in the Park 2."
Surely this is a different Melody Anderson; I have a hard time believing a 55 year old actress could play a 'Girl in the Park'. -

its always cool when you hear these actors who were in memorable films like flash Gordon do something else beyond acting, especially helping people like this. that's really great for her! she seems like a very smart woman, both beauty and brains! makes me think more of people like this. she certainly was a a cutie in that movie. the film looked like it was in Technicolor so she looked amazing in it!
Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies! -

Caitlin O'Heaney is also a great actress that left show business many years ago. Also, Whittni Wright was am amazing actress when she was about four years old in I'll Do Anything. Whittni Wright did not continue in show business supposedly because the business is such a hassle. I assume there are many good actors that just don't want it.
