Does Roscoe's film of "Brewster's Millions" still exist?
If it does, how can I get to see it. Apart from being a Roscoe fan, I'd like to see it for some research I'm doing into the various adaptations of this story. (I'd also be pleased if anyone can offer any info on the other lesser known versions of this story.) Thanks.

Sadly, no copy of this film is known to exist as far as I am concerned. The b68only three accessible Arbuckle-features made at Paramount are
      The Round-Up
      ,
      The Life of the Party
      and
      Leap Year
(the latter is available on DVD, the others are perserved in film archives and have been screened on festivals a few times). Following the scandal that ruined Arbuckle's career as a leading comedian in the early 1920's, most of his negatives were destroyed and, as a result, many films such as
      Brewster's Millions
are likely never to turn up again. The film, as you perhaps know, was based on a 1906-play, which in turn was based on the novel by Richard Greaves. Despite the success of the play, none of the eight or nine film versions have done very well.
