Personally, I think Del Shores gave Beau his big break.

I do too, but the Brooklyn Bridge is my favorite.

Thanks for your expert opinion. Now go get me my french fries and don't forget that it's your turn to clean the bathrooms this week.

I agree. He can act a little bit., but like you said if it wasn't for his father, he would've never been an actor to begin with. He doesn't have any real talent.

Actually, Lloyd Bridges was famous LONG before Seinfeld.
As for his sons, Jeff even said he got his foot in the door because of nepotism. Yes, they got their first breaks because of who their father was. However, they would never have been offered bigger and better parts if they didn't have the talent to back it up.

How ridiculous! Beau was a featured player before Seinfeld was even born. Many relatives of people in the business get a shot because of nepotism, but none of them last without some real talent.
I worked on a comedy film with Beau Bridges (The Second Civil War) and I can assure you that he does have real talent, usually nailing a scene on the first try, a consumate professional. Also, he's a genuinely nice guy with a great sense of humor and comedic timing.

I agree!!!the family is cool. out of all the season's of Touched by An Angel and Promised Land and Everwood.. Beau was the ONLY ACTOR who said thank you to the Extra's, for being there to help him do his job to the best he could! WE did our job which made his job. the ONLY actor who said thank you! there were many who used us to help them get into the character. just Beau respected it!

Your post makes no sense, number 1 Beau was acting decades before the Seinfeld show was even created, Beau's first acting job was in 1948 and the Seinfeld episode you are referring to was in 1997!!! Number 2 I agree nepotism can let you in the door but no way could he have done well over 100 movies, tv, winning awards, with a career spanning over 40 years because of his father. If you don't like him as an actor that is fine but it is completely idiotic that he has had this long, successful career purely because of who is father is.
More, more, more! How do you like it? How do you like it?

Jeff Bridges developed into a brilliant actor (see THE FISHER KING and FEARLESS). Beau is a TV actor of no discernible talent, and yet he seems to get more work than practically every other actor in Holywood. So bully for him.

Beau was great in many parts. I remember when he was younger and seeing him "The Landlord", "Dragonfly", and "Swashbuckler", as well as other movies he has done since, including "The Fabulous Baker Boys". He is a discriminating tipper so I would imagine your comment is just out of being stiffed for expecting a huge starlit tip for terrible table service you attempted to give.

I wonder if you leave similar messages on Angelina Jolie's, or George Clooney forum who are terrible actors (unlike Beau)and only got where they are because of their relations. Or the countless other actors who would be serving people at Denny's if it wasn't for who they are or who they banged.

Beau has managed to be working from 2013 and every year back to 1960, but began in 1948. In 2013, does he really the money and be a part of so many films every year?

Beau's born in 1941 and has spent his life frittering it away. His whole career is one jaunted lament for a pithy, or ode to the fool. Whether he lives off of his father or not. The man is nothing like his brother and should have worked as a shoe salesman like Al Bundy (Bundy is actually a native Swiss name and properly pronounced "Bun-day," but that is a prolegomena to my thesis on).
I think Warhol tried coming up with a name for the likes of Beau, "Trash!!!"

depending on your point of view, regardless of his talent or lack of it and whether his Dad's fame gave him a leg up or not, simply scrolling down his credits will show that BB has been acting since 1948 and when did Seinfeld first start ? 1990 ! So that blows that ludicrous theory right out of the water. If you don't like an actor, fine, but back it up with at least some semi-intelligent observations about why you hate him, instead of ignorant and misinformed rantings.
