Whenever I've seen him on tv, he's in a really bad movie. So when I see that he's in the cast of something I just automatically don't want to watch it!
Something like "It's got Dean Cain in it, it's not going to be good." -

EXCUSE ME,Folks! But for a bunch of people who really don't have anything better to say you guys are really pre-judice over a great man.Dean Cain works his ARCE off to keep you folks out there in happy land entertained. So what, he's not playing a role like SUPERMAN anymore, but heck,he grew up,got on with his life and he is doing some serious acting, out side the HOLLYWOOD lime light.I think he is doing a fantastic job accepting movie roles that fit his schedule around Chris(his son).He is a single father(which I personally, adore) and he makes time for his family, first and formost. He is not out there trying to make you individual,nick-picking snobs happy. He is trying to make mo9vies that entertain everyone across the board. So what if certain people don't like him,FINE-he doesn't care.He would prefer if you people would stop talking trash about him,but then again I think it's just jealousy. So if you folks have nothing really nice to contribute about Dean Cain, then shut up and don't say anything, better yet don't watch his movies and don't bitch and moan when he does something you don't agree with, fair enough! I personally love him and adore evereything he is doing, personally and professionally.

I couldn't agree with you more, Thia! I really like Dean Cain. I enjoyed his performance as Superman (which I've been watching since I recently got the series on DVD), and he put in a super-creepy excellent performance in Smallville.

Amen to that! Sure he's not Tom Hanks or NPH, but he's awesome in his own ways. Liked his TV movies very much - Broadcasting Christmas was lovely. In some Netizens' words; "You can you up, no can no BB". XDD
And not to mention he's handsome too! How come this guy still single? Thought he'd be a grandpa by now. LOL -

I used to 'love' Lois and Clark back in the day and have the dvd box sets.. but, even though it was my favourite show at that time, Dean Cain simply sucked at emotional acting.
You would have Teri Hatcher nearly crying her eyes out and the camera would pan over to Dean, who had the same expressionless look. Terrible. Nearly destroyed all the emotional scenes.
The guy cannot act, but, he's still good looking so he'll pass to most audiences. -

really I won't watch anything with Cameron Matheson..I think that he's the worse out there
dean cain in the Christmas movies that I watch him in is a real treat
I look at the movies, that I'm watching right now and they sound interestingbut whenever Cameron comes on the screenthere goes the station
those clenched teeth of his are a real turn off.
dean cain for me remains a delight, while so many other actors do not

Wow, is that how we view thespians these days. If you're not in blockbuster films you are a low rate actor.
I find him to be quite an exceptional actor. Especially after seeing him on Smallville (Cure). He has his moments.

Since when does having 137 made for tv movies on your record is a bad thing? Sure, they may not win many awards, but ever think he's doing just for fun? How many have YOU done and felt accomplished for it?
I'm not psycho, just a little loopy.

He is decent. He has his moments (Chris Harrison in Out of Time, Clark Kent in Lois and Clark not as Superman).

last year before one of his Christmas movies came out, he said that he was doing them all for his son, so that he could actually watch him in his acting.
I think that's great.
