Love streams was the first one I saw and at first I thought it was good but not great. But now after about two years since I've seen it I think its a masterpiece. Husbands is the last one I saw and it moved me more than the rest. All his films that I've seen are great in my opinion.

Opening Night was the best. I loved Shadows and Chinese Bookie too, but Opening Night really spoke to me.

I've changed my mind now that I've seen Opening Night again. It's probably my all-time favorite film. Still need to see Love Streams. It's so hard to find.

Opening Night is the one that blows me away. It's criminal how badly the film was treated after its release. It's a shame Cassavetes never lived to see its reputation grow since then. It was ahead of its time and I have seen films that appear to have borrowed from it in some way like All About My Mother, Black Swan, and Birdman.
