          I don't know if it matters that I heard the Nirvana version long before ever hearing the original but I don't really care for the original. The pace doesn't feel right.

                  He and his band sucked. Also grunge sucks too. Responsible for killing off all the good rock bands of the 80s.

                    80's hair metal was corny as hell, mass produced, and lame. Kurt brought to the mainstream what was brewing underground during the 80's, and it gave us a variety of interesting, authentic rock bands.
                    It wasn't just grunge, but the spectrum of alternative rock that benefited from their success.
