I can't remember if only these 2 were covered on Unplugged or of they covered more from them. They did mostly covers in that performance I think.

I don't know if it matters that I heard the Nirvana version long before ever hearing the original but I don't really care for the original. The pace doesn't feel right.

80's hair metal was corny as hell, mass produced, and lame. Kurt brought to the mainstream what was brewing underground during the 80's, and it gave us a variety of interesting, authentic rock bands.
It wasn't just grunge, but the spectrum of alternative rock that benefited from their success.
