Another person who doesn't know the proper use of "ironic".

LetsBeSerious I'm pretty sure that is a valid use of "Irony." The kid is claiming she is a "distinguishing old troll" yet represents one him/herself. Personally I find her interesting and respectable enough to not be deserving of such a vulgar description.

That's not what irony is though. Maybe you're thinking of "hypocrisy".

She was the best M in my opinion, like Desmond Llewelyn is the definitive Q, Judi Dench has become the definitive M.

I agree, she was perfect for M. Since Skyfall was my favorite Bond movie, I have to go back and watch the others with her in it 🙂

spoilers for those who haven't seen it.
anyone know why they killed her in Skyfall? I was so disappointed.

Isn't she losing her sight? Maybe that's why they killed her off. Wonderful actress - love her in As Time Goes By.

Agreed, she is. What I especially love about her in particular is how she was able to make M into an actual person and not quite a one dimensional character that M's been in previous films.

The Bond franchise is made for men and should not include dusty old crones like Judi Dench in key non-sexual roles.

So, if Ms. Dench is not coming back as "M," then who will replace her?
                            Any ideas? Rumors?

No I have not yet seen this "Bond" film. I will buy it on DVD and definitely
watch it. You have peaked my curiosity.
