Isn't she losing her sight? Maybe that's why they killed her off. Wonderful actress - love her in As Time Goes By.

Agreed, she is. What I especially love about her in particular is how she was able to make M into an actual person and not quite a one dimensional character that M's been in previous films.

The Bond franchise is made for men and should not include dusty old crones like Judi Dench in key non-sexual roles.

No I have not yet seen this "Bond" film. I will buy it on DVD and definitely watch it. You have peaked my curiosity.
