I do agree about it being more apt to compare Olivia Hussey with someone like Monica Belluci. They both have an exotic beauty, whereas Brooke Sheilds is more a cool, classical beauty.
Does Olivia Hussey have an Italian background? I thought her father was Argentinian and her mother English. Of course that doesn't mean she doesn't have some Italian blood. Could someone tell me who in her family provided the Italian connection? -

Yeah that reference to an Italian heritage confused me as well. Her father is/was (not sure if he is still with us or not)was a rather famous Argentinian and her mother was English (as in England)so unless someone knows some deep dark secret.

Argentina is full of people with Italian ancestry. Remember, there were many Italians who came to the west with the Spaniards, often in high positions (such as Christopher Columbus ). The primary language of Argentina is Spanish, but if you ever listen to the Argentines speak Spanish, you will hear a very distinct Italian accent with the Spanish.

Why? There are prettier girls than Olivia Hussey she was ugly in comparation to Brooke, look at her in ponytail ugly as ****. Brooke Shields hands down Brooke Shields the most beautiful woman in the world.. Olivia Hussey looks like every woman in the world.
Brooke shields had thick, long, perfect eyebrows, her radio nose was perfect, not like Olivia Hussey's larger face,
I don't think so with those images -

I think her father was Argentinian and her mother was British?
Haha, I only compared her to Brooke Shields because I've heard both of them being regarded as 'classic' beauties. I agree that while Olivia does have exotic features (I think it's really only her eyes though..), her facial structure is very symmetrical and 'perfect'the height of Western beauty, so to speak, which is why I believe most people refer to her as a classic. -

Both of them peaked very early and unfortunately "fell off" shortly afterward. Olivia had the advantage of superior coloring (that lustrous raven mane and those incandescent silver-green eyes
) and a more dreamy/romantic quality to her look overall, but I'd argue that the interplay between Brooke's actual features was more impressive. There was a brief moment in time where her face was all but perfect from an aesthetic viewpoint.

What drugs are all of you taking to use the past tense "was"?! Both these women are both still beautiful! You must have some screws loose if you think Olivia or Brooke were only beautiful when they were young. It also makes me think you people must be very shallow and vapid to think a person, let alone a woman, can only be beautiful in their youth.
If it's been fifteen years or more, it's no longer a spoiler.
