I am surprised nobody brought this up yet.
I think she has one of the most unique and distinctive voices ever. I wonder often what she would sound like if she sang. Anyone?? -

Her voice is absolutely UNIQUE and BEAUTIFUL! I do love when she screams and prays in "Carrie".
Past last week I saw again the wonderful Piper Laurie in a "Will and Grace" episode, and certainly, that precious voice still there!

She does indeed have a lovely and very distinct voice, agreed.
And her face.she still has the captivating eyes and eye-catching smile she had in her youth.

Not only does she have a very unusual melody in her voice when she speaks, I also thinks she pronounces every word in a distinct and special way. Somehow I always thought she sounds a little posh, very strict and very nice at the same time.
