I'm watching the Sound of Music now on BBC 1 here in the UK. Definitely one of my favourite films of all time. And I agree Christopher Plummer was very goodlooking in this film.

I agree. I'm 40 and though I didn't get him when I was 12when you rewatch TSOM as an adult you have a completely different view of him when you're older and get the romance.
Hotness doesn't happen with only the physical appearance of a person for me.
They need to honor this guy with a special Oscar! There's a petition out there for signature. -

Mr. Plummer has a autobiography in bookstores now, just published, written by him, no ghostwriter or collaborator involved. The front dust jacket shows a stunning photo of him, probably taken some years ago. Being the well spoken gentleman that he is, I'm sure the book is very much worth reading. It's a pretty hefty tome. I haven't read any reviews of it so far.

Don't know about how he looks now - but I'm watching Sound of Music and I agree - I never realized before how good looking he was! Typically the leading men of that era I don't understand why people think they are good looking but him? Very understandable
