I agree. I'm 40 and though I didn't get him when I was 12when you rewatch TSOM as an adult you have a completely different view of him when you're older and get the romance.
Hotness doesn't happen with only the physical appearance of a person for me.
They need to honor this guy with a special Oscar! There's a petition out there for signature.

I think Mr. Plummer was particularly hot in 'The Return of the Pink Panther', especially when he was floating around in a swimming pool. Very yummy with that hairy chest.

Mr. Plummer has a autobiography in bookstores now, just published, written by him, no ghostwriter or collaborator involved. The front dust jacket shows a stunning photo of him, probably taken some years ago. Being the well spoken gentleman that he is, I'm sure the book is very much worth reading. It's a pretty hefty tome. I haven't read any reviews of it so far.

That's an apt description. Am a huge fan of Cary Grant and he really is a Canadian version of Cary Grant (with a hint of devilishness - Cary Grant was always such a sweet man in the roles he played

Don't know about how he looks now - but I'm watching Sound of Music and I agree - I never realized before how good looking he was! Typically the leading men of that era I don't understand why people think they are good looking but him? Very understandable

Check out YouTube for the version of "On Golden Pond" - starring CP and Julie Andrews - from 2001, when Plummer was 71. He was really, really hot even then!!

He IS deliciously hot and sexy!!!! And I agree that he just gets better with age! He still has those gorgeous blue eyes!
I tb68hink he's at his hottest and sexiest in "Battle of Britain." He has a VERY hot scene with Susannah York, who plays his wife.
I agree, too, about that pool scene in "Return of the Pink Panther"!
