Wow, and I thought I was cynical.

It isn't about talent, it's about continually loving and training for your craft like any other career. Kate Winslet, amongst many other actors from overseas and a minority here in NA, practices and expands her horizons with many actors who do not necessarily have a plethora of mainstream work (of which most of those are truly tal16d0entless) by doing stagework.
You'll find an awful lot of quotes from actors who say they enjoy the stage more than the silverscreen. More love and more enjoyment in the work by performing in front of a real audience night after night.

She is long since retired, but actually she's living in San Clemente, CA (not Sacramento, CA) with her husband Todd Corman who was the head coach of the Concordia University (in Irvine, CA) women's basketball team until just recently this year.
I looked her up not long ago after seeing Ghostbusters & remembering what a crush I once had on her! lol

Yeah, she was pretty amazingly beautiful. I can't think of a prettier face in Hollywood, although I think highly of Kim Basinger.

She was indeed very beautiful in her movies and television shows. I particularly liked her in a film she made with Donovan Leitch called "The In Crowd". She's now living a nice, peaceful life in San Clemente with her husband Todd Corman, the nephew of famed director Roger Corman, who is the head woman's basketball coach at Concordia University. She's got two kids and she's retired from the craziness of Hollywood.

Good for her. An actress should look good and make some interesting movies up to around age 30, then find a wonderful man, settle down, get married, have kids, and forget about the movie business. Instead of letting Hollywood chew you up and spit you out, give Hollywood the boot instead. Always leave your audience wanting more.

She is still incredible beautiful. I saw her in a store the other day in Orange County and noticed how much prettier in person she was. Gillian Anderson was the same way, much prettier without all the film makeup.

She was, probably still is, totally captivating. Her pouty mouth, adorable. I looked her up at http://www.bignamecharity.com but could not get a price for lunch with her. I don't think I'm that huge of a fan to shell out the big bucks anyway, but was curious.

Yeah there have been a few actresses from the 80s and 90s that I wish I knew what they were up to. Traci Lind. Jill Schoelen. Amy Dolenz. And of course Jennifer Runyon.
I turned 34 so I grew up watching Runyon as the attractive "older girl" in tons of classic stuff that in my mind should all be on DVD. My favorite is The In Crowd. Great story. Awesome soundtrack.
My first memory of her was as "Gwen" in Charles in Charge. When I got older I was able to see Up the Creek and I was surpised to see her in that. I only wanted to see it because two guys from Animal House were in it.
And now that we are talking about missing actresses. In kind of a 6 degrees of seperation, whatever happen to Charlie Schlatter (not only in 18 Again but Ferris Bueller the TV show) and Donovan Leitch (The In Crowd, Cutting Class)???

I just saw her in a condom commercial this past week. She still looks the same and I recognized her immediately because of her scar and her voice.
I wonder if she is trying to make a comeback by doing commercial acting first?

Believe me, she's certainly a person you would purchase a condom for! She's not the ONLY reason I own a movie, but I do own a few movies because she's in them, which is not a bad thing to say, I guess. I know she upgraded the background in some movies that she's been in.
