I must speak for the youth by saying, I'm 19 and I have a great deal of respect for actors like Cicely Tyson because I know the signifcance of her work. There are just a lot of stupid people who don't understand the history of Hollywood and the struggles of many female actors. Maybe they will understand some day, until then let them continue to be ignorant of the world.

im not dissin her at all!! i mean i never seen anyone last this long! her actin iz incredible. 70 sumthin years old, african american, known around the universe! i5b4m sorry if u took my topic the wrong way i apologize. im supportin her and everything u know goin to see her movies. i waz just kinda suprised. my grandmother iz 63 by the way and she is very healthy. just like Cicely Tyson she looks younger than age.
