Ive watched 2 films off the 10 pack dvd set Streetfighter was watchable version, but Karate Warriors was completely killed off with a HORRENDOUS panning & scanning, which cut away at least 2/3 of the picture. The sound was also so poor that I couldnt hear any of the dialogue.
Its a great movie though, if it was released on a decent widescreen dvd it would probably be considered one of his best films..
anyways, Streetfighter and Karate Warriors are definitely worth seeing, both great movies.
Also 'Soul of Bruce Lee' is a classic, but very hard to find. If you find it, get it. Good stuff.

"Kill Bill" is a must see.
Also "Return of Street Fighter", some say it is OK, but it is way better than OK.
"Return of Street Fighter" gives a good taste of traditional Japanese martial arts mixed with the Sonny Chiba attitude! -

I Just bought the Street Fighter Collection On VHS,
Just had Clarence Worley Night In!!
I Was also new to Chiba (Many thanks to Q.T)
Loved all 4 the only problem i had was the Dubbing on
'Street Fighters Last Revenge' the rest aint to bad but that ones terrible,
Makes you wanna learn Japanise!
Should be getting the 10 pack soon, Hopefully!
guy i bought them off is messing around!
Guess it must be Chiba's Trademark the Fighting in the rain thing,
Does this happen in any other Chiba films?
happens in all street fighters execpt sister.
The Bruce Lee comment above is totally right!

Never did end up getting that 10-pack,
But did get a cool Chiba film called 'Samurai Reincarnation' Classic!
Look's Like it's going to be remade, without Chiba!

About to order the Chiba 10-Pack at http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=3685053&cart=185356636&style=MOVIE, with shipping it comes to just over $20, good for anyone who can't find it in any stores near them.
Question, are the movies in the pack in original language with subs or the English dubbed? -

I think one of his best, but most overlooked performances was in "Deadly Battle in Hiroshima", the second film of the Yakuza Papers series Battles without Honour and Humanity.
Chiba has mentioned that he thinks he performed best when being directed by Kinji Fukasaku, who also directed The Yagyu Clan Conspiracy. -

Deffinitely.. other than Hirono, Otomo was the best character in that movie, but then again that whole series is one of the greatest series of all time.
anyways
Noones brought 4 awesome chiba movies and im amazed
1 Karate bear fighter
2 karate bull fighter
3 Yokohama Underworld: The Machine-Gun Dragon( bunta sugawara) is my favorite japanese actor so that makes this one even better)
4 Memoir of Japanese Assassins (also with bunta sugawara)
I like them all but those 4 are deffinite favorites and im a much bigger yakuza fan than karate so thats why the little bias towards the 3rd film.
hope it helps a little -
