Was Cesar Romero Gay?

No need to name call and posture.
The man who refuses to believe Romero was gay is entitled to his own POV. I still prefer not to think of Kelly McGillis as lesbian although I know that to be the truth. Hollywood is about fantasy. Anyhow, it's a tribute to Romero's acting prowess that he's so convincing as a het.
I always wanted to have his het suavity myself.

First of all, Kelly McGillis, as far as I know is still living and she probably chose to out herself. Dead actors don't have that choice.You want to believe he was gay, that's your POV.but just like everyone else, you don't really knowIt always amazes me when people on this board and others insist they know he was gay, even tho it has never been proven, and then get furious when anyone disagrees with them

I don't think it really matters. I will still swoon whenever I see him or hear his voice. You hear stories about many men of the golden Hollywood era who were said to be bi-sexual (Danny Kaye, Lawrence Olivier,etc),,,maybe it was experimental or maybe not. I don't care today as i don't care then. I once read an interview Cesar did where he said that he didn't marry because he had such a big family and he took care of all of them, how could he give himself totally to a wife too?

Well I'm discovering a lot of people were gay or bi-sexual back then. I'm now seeing that back then people weren't so innocent as we think. They were experimenting their sexuality back then as well, the only difference between then and now is that people tell who their sleeping with now and days, back then, people kept their business to themselves. I don't know what it is about show biz but people feel that they can be more free to be gay or bi in show biz then any other biz, which probably explains why so many gays and lesbians are attracted to show biz, they feel free to be themselves and express themselves and find ones like them.
I find there were many gays and lesbians who were married to the opposite sex to keep up appearances but had affairs with ones of the same sex behind close doors. There were actually gay men and lesbians who would marry one another and help protect one another but were free to have affairs with the same sex.
I'm starting to see if a guy is t2000oo pretty, too handsome, too charming, he has to be gay and it's turning out to be true. -

Would you say the same about heterosexuals? I doubt you would. Why is bisexuality or homosexuality less innocent than heterosexuality in your mind? It isn't. I have known a lot of sweet and innocent gay or bisexual people and a lot of ''guilty'' heterosexual people.

Well, not exactly a love affair. That implies there was a relationship and emotions involved. From the account I read, Cesar admitted in an interview (after Desi's death) that they worked together once, and he really was interested and attracted to Desi. When they finally met up for the project they were working on, Desi, who was actually considered to be straight and a womanizer, knew that Cesar wanted him. Desi said something to the effect of "We both know what you want, so let's get it over with." Cesar apparently took the opportunity to provide some "attention" to Desi. One time, and it was over. Cesar said they never spoke of it again and were professional to each other throughout the rest of the project.
almost every aspiring actor or model I've met is gay.
