I'm listening to songs from 1999 to about 2005 and I just had to post this throwback video
This song just take me back to the late 90s for real and when I was in the 10th grade at the time.

I was going into the 7th grade when GIAB came out. I know Christina wanted something more vocally challenging as her first single, but the label was right to put Genie out first. It has a summery vibe to it.

What song did she want as the first single? I bet it was "come on over" I think GIAB was a good choice for a first single her vocals was just right in the song.

Yeah, I was in 6th grade when it came out. At first, I didn't make the connection between her and "My Reflection" video. I remember seeing the "My Reflection" video on the Disney channel, but I didn't know that was her.
