agreed.
it must be completely humiliating for her to watch her own shows and lose count of the number of times she contradicts herself.
the worst thing about her is the fact that she seems to think of herself as this superior, empowered feminist; in america's next top model she is constantly going on about empowerment and female strength but then humiliates and degrades the contestants. yes they chose to participate in that ridiculous competition, but no one deserves to be completely ripped into over their appearance by a panel of judges.
but still, she seems to think she's a great role model.

christ! so tyra thinks that she and her show are influential enough to encourage a generation of young people to start smoking, but is fine with the fact that it's a painfully shallow series that promotes materialism and an absurd, unrealistic image for girls to look up to.
& then she slams the media for making fun of her recent weight gain! & her talk show! i it's just man she's too much. i could go on forever. she makes it so easy

Oh snap, i just randomly decided to check this thread out, and wow, it's actually been a year since i started this thing. Well, I've come along way since then, and I think I may have changed my opinion about good ol' Tyra.
Haha who am 238i kidding, no I haven't. She remains a beotch.
And to all the people who agree with me, thank you, I love you guys. But hey, what the hell, I'm gonna make this a tradition. From now on I'm gonna make it so that I revisit this thread anually, and hopefully I will watch it evolve into the biggest and greatest thread of all time. Ok I'm getting too ambitious here. How about the biggest and greatest thread that hates on a female black celebrity of all time? One can dream, right?
Btw, I am not racist in any way. It's just that she so happens to be blac5b4k and a female, so there you go, that's my way of narrowing it down.
The day this tradition will die off, is the day she ceases to be a beotch, which as most of us know, is very unlikely to happen. I guess one can dream about this as well or not dream actually. After all, i imagine her bitchiness is at least ever so slightly entertaining to even the biggest of her haters.
In fact it would be pretty darn cool if this thread escalated so much that it lead to a facking movement. Whaddya say guys? -

I love Tyra and that's why I watch both of her shows.
If you don't like her then simply don't watch either of her shows, and don't come to websites and message boards about her

I agree. Tyra Banks is a successful business woman; when most models careers end after 30, she's become an entrepreneur. She could use her pull (stifling laughter) to inspire young girls who look up to her. But instead of using what influence she has for good, she focuses on topics like, 'let me show you my breasts are real' and 'I can wear my own real hair' and 'I have cellulite, too, wanna see?' and 'I don't need makeup to be pretty let's do a show about it!' She is FULL OF HERSELF that it disgusts me. I am gagging right now and wait, no, wait, now I'm going to hurl. THANKS A LOT, TYRA!

Maybe it's this simple She doesen't OWE you or anyone else the benefit of "her pull". She has two shows of the subject matter that she want's. If you want to see Tyra cover the things that she covers (and obviously MANY do) then watch her shows. If you want spiritual all universal guidance then might I suggest one or more of the many, many religious/self-help shows that are on television tod2000ay. Maybe one of those can help give guidance to your wayward girl children and confused women folk, but that's NOT Tyra's job, sorry.

You are so right! She's disgustingly full of herself and never misses an opportunity to point out how beautiful she is and never has any clue how to conduct an interview. She never seems to use her brains and is full of contradictions. She's a disgrace.
