What does this mean? He was found not guilty on all but two of the charges of prostitution - each which can carry a penalty of 10 years. Cassie and a stylist wrote to the judge explaining their fear for their safety after testifying.
Does this set a bad precedent? Is this another example of the elite, rich and powerful being able to sidestep justice? Interesting that they dropped the most serious of charges.
I'm gathering there are going to be a series of civil suits against him at this point?

I'm not sure. I do think that Diddy was not the top fish in this food chain, however.
The jury really did not look at how coercive this guy is with manipulating women and sexually abusing them. There was so much evidence. The jury's sticking to how these women always had "free will" have no idea how trauma bonds work or when someone is involved in a domestic violence relationship.
He got away with it.
And his supporters were standing outside of the courtroom pouring baby oil over themselves? Unbelievable.

Seems like it's more an example of over zealous prosecution…at least by the juries conclusiond. Sometimes you don't have the case you wish you had…and it shows
