I am actually from his hometown and I know many people who went to school with him (not me, I'm 21 years younger than he is) and have kept in touch. They all seem to say that he is very friendly and kind and usually willing to help someone in need. They will do anything they can to see him when he comes back home. Around here almost everyone "loves" Billy Ray, and are proud to say so.
I know of an instance in which a local girl was killed in an accident and Billy Ray actually payed for her funeral.

Well, here to the Village Idiot. If he is as kind hearted and nice as people say, then why is he pimping out his daughter? Terry Shields did that to Brooke and thank God she turned out alright.
Just because they are "Country" does not mean they have values greater than anyone. Country music is more sexual and degrades women than Heavy metal. Those people are like rabbits and have the morals of rabbits, but at least a rabbit can't help themselves.
Here's your choice: Jamie lee Curtis or Paris Hilton.

Just because his daughter is successful does not mean he is "pimping her out" Is she not allowed to have her own career? God your'e a jerk!
