Yes, they dated for 3 years. And yes, they were engaged. Such a shame they split.
Where did you get your information from? Because they never said they were engaged and Majandra was never seen with a5b4n engagement ring.

There's absolutely no doubt that she dated Brendan Fehr for a while. They were photographed together numerous times and spoke about their relationship. Furthermore she later married Devon Gummersall who played Sean in Season two. Her feelings on the romantic pairing of Michael and Maria have no bearing, whatsoever on her relationship with the actor who played Michael. -

Both have confirmed they were together and on the season three DVDs I listened to the DVD commentary and the guy says the break-up scene was really hard for them to do because they were together and so in love at the time. (This was a UK edition but assuming they have the same special features)
She has also stated she didn't like him when she first meet him. Apparently she got over it.
