In this season of ER, Weaver hires a new attending to replace Dr. Lewis. She also has a slip on the ice that worsens her hip in later episodes and after contemplating about hip replacement surgery, Weaver finally goes into surgery. In the upcoming episodes, we'll see Weaver walking without a cane.

Kerry Weaver is a lesbian.
Her wife died so 111cshe is a widow bringing son Henry up on her own.

When was it ever mentioned again that she had a husband? NEVER! She was never married. She's always been a lesbian, she was just lying because she was insecure about herself during her relationship with Kim.

She mentioned it to Kim on their second date. Although she mentioned it just causually, Kim was like "You were married?". At the same scene, Kerry admitted she never thought about having a relationship with a woman. So before she met Kim she never considered being gay.

One of the first seasons that she was on the show, she had an affair with a man. Go back and watch some of the earlier episodes, and it will be there. She was not always a lesbian.

she may have been in the closet, but she was sexually active with men. that's it plain and simple.
