is that were it ended, or did you also do stupid stuff in your 20s that you probably won't do in your 30s? there's probably stuff you'll do in your 30s that you won't do when you're in your 50s, right? using this line of logic undesirable behavior can forever be excused.
i'm not sure if you're purposely being misleading or just misunderstood, but the statistics you provided do not speak to the topic of conversation at all. first of all they only include judicial wavers and do not include statutory exclusion or concurrent jurisdictions. second, they include all juveniles, which is anyone under 18, when we were speaking very sp111cecifically about 15 year olds. of course the numbers are going to be drastically skewed if your data includes 5 year olds.(because unfortunately, we do arrest 5 year olds in america, lol). lastly, these numbers are from 1994! this was almost two decades ago. in 1994 schwarzenegger was still top at the box office, boyz II men were ruling the charts, and white people still liked oj.
at 15 in the u.s. you can legally operate a motor vehicle, you can even get married. hell, at 15(younger even) you can be detained by the us department of defense as an enemy combatant. i know you're just playing devil's advocate, but the fact remains if you're 15 and you're getting pissed on by r kelly it's because you want to be pissed on by r kelly, not because you don't know any better. -

- i'm glad we agree that the statistics provided are completely irrelevant. i'm not interested in statistics anyway, but rather opinions of real people, like yourself.
- funny story, we've all done stupid stuff. but what you didn't admit to yourself then is the same thing you're not admitting now. you knew very well what you were doing then was ethically wrong. you very well knew what you were doing was illegal. no one who is old enough to steal and operate a motor vehicle does not understand the concept of stealing.
As far as I'm concerned (and in many cases, as too the law) a 5yr old and a 15yr old is the same.
this is just something one would say on a message board, not something one actually believes. as your previous posts have demonstrated your intelligence, i simply can not believe that you actually believe this.

my issue is with the lack of accountability arguments, not arguments specifically dealing with r kelly. i like his music, but i think we16d0 all agree he's pretty stupid. i mean if you're filming yourself committing crimes jail is probably somewhere in your future.
i just don't like it when people pretend that at 15 years old you should not be held accountable for your own actions. -

i am a 14 yr old girl i have never done anything shamefull with a guy but were i am from most of my frinds have gone all the way so i am not really surprised. still doesn't excuse his behavior though !!!!!!

I was just telling someone on another website that these girls now a days are more developed than some older women. Im not saying You cant tell that they are young but It's a everyday thing I pull over cuz I see a chick thika than a snicka just to find out she's like 15. I have will power to just walk away but I still leave thinking damn I want to hit that. Its a couple chicks that live in my building that are like 14- 15 years old that come at me. and they got body like Beyonce. I cant wait until they 18 so I can plug em. However its a stuggle with myself to just say no, I'll wait these 3-4 years out, I got to much to loose. Men ought to feel what im saying if you real with yourself. You can say im a pervert all you want. I dont care. Cuz I never had sex with these lil girls. I just look at it as a future investment. I know one day my daughter is going to grow up and be 15 and some old grown ass man gone look at her the same way. It's life.

It is life, you are right, i can remeber being 14/15 and having grown men looking at me. of course men are going to find young girls attractive especially as they look so much older now but like you, they should know better and walk away. Just beacuse a 14 year old looks older, acts older does not give a grown man the right to take advantage of that. I respect your honesty at saying you find young girls attractive, of course you do BUT the difference is leaving them alone or doing something about it. What R. Kelly did was wrong, if he'd just admired this girl and walked away then fair enough but he didn't so he is guilty and should be put away like any other man would be.

Ahy, Some of these lil chicks be presistant. R.Kelly is in a position where he is in the public eye, he got all this fame and Money. When you add the fact that he just another dude from the "Hood" that made it to the equasion, that equals in his mind he is untouchable. See Im not saying what he did was right but, I understand. See the average person would say with his status he can get damn near any chick he wants (Of age). But what do lil 14 year old girls want? What? a pair of shoes?, a new outfit?, If he was hitting a chick lets say 21 she would want a new house, car, ect. If you seen the tape he took that money back. It was probably no more than $200. And to R. Kelly whats $200? I think they should sentence him to a Money saving tactics Siminar. He had the right intentions to save money he was just sloopy with his plan. The Chick probably never come forth until her Of age aunt wanted $. Which would buy the new Car, House ect.
