He didn't write anything on Scream? Hmmm. I will admit that I have Gus' solo album and I couldn't imagine what he could bring to the table as an Ozzy guitarist. It sounded in the same vein as Brad Gillis' solo album. Not bad, just not memorable. I did not like how much he sounds like Zakk on the scream album, which is not a feather in Gus' cap.

I am a DIE HARD OZZY fan and have been since the early 80's when I first heard Mr. Crowley. I have every thing Ozzy has put out as a solo artist and most of his stuff from Sabbath on cd, ALL of Sabbath with Ozzy on itunes.
I have to say that Randy Rhodes was hands down the best and an original, Followed very closely by Zakk (who in my opinion is the only one who can even come close to playing the Randy stuff live) then Brad Gillis, then Jake E. Lee. Now dont get me wrong OZZY has NEVER had a bad Guitar player with him, hell he has NEVER had a bad musician play with him.
Ozzy knows how to pick the best at what they do. -

Randy Rhoads and Brad Gillis
Randy was a Metal / Classical god and never made it past 25 years old. Words cant really explain what he'd do to music today if he was still around.
Brad Gillis, He filled in for Rhoads after he died, got it rough from the fans and the band was at a low point due to the death, but yet he played his ass off and did a great job. -

Rhoads is Metal royalty without a doubt. I would love to see a Jake reunion before it's too late.
