The purpose of pansexual identification is to not exclude transgender individuals. Bisexual people are attracted to cisgender men and women, whereas pansexuals are not limited by sex, gender or gender identity.
That being said, she has never explicitly stated her sexual orientation, nor does she need to She may know what most people with a semblance of a brain know - sexuality is fluid. It isn't something majority of people can label concretely. -

Your denial is adorable! She may well end up with a man, or she may end up with a woman, but it has nothing to do with issues she may or may not have with her parents. Sorry, women are attracted to other women roughly 80% of the time. I know this because I have an 80% success rate with "straight" women which I'm sure is more than you can claim.
