very disrespectful on the apprentice.

I just want to say this. My problem with Holly has nothing to do with color. My issue was and is, she has control issues. She keeps everything so controlled that at times, she sacrifices creativity. As a mother with an autistic child, this likely stems from the need to keep an absolute control over scheduling and the conditions in the home. But this has had a negative impact on her overall career and she has worked more low key projects. She is a decent actress, but I think she has always had some issues with the creativity.
That is why Johnny Depp was able to overshadow her and went on to major stardom. He took chances and was never concerned with holding himself back.
That is bullshyt. You must be out of your mind if you really think a Black woman in Hollywood has the same career opportunities career as a White man.
Holly was on two more successful TV shows after Jump Street consecutively (Hangin' With Mr. Cooper and For Your Love). So what she didn't become a movie star. Neither did Depp [until the early 2000s with Pirates of the Caribbean]. In the 1990s he stayed away from the mainstream and only had two box office hits; Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow, both Tim Burton films.
Johnny Depp was clever enough to date women who had movie careers and were more famous than him (Jennifer Grey and especially Winona Ryder) to help him along. When Winona was too ill to do The Godfather III he was able to take advantage of that and get her to do Edward Scissorhands with him, which greatly increased the chances of the movie becoming successful (Winona had previously worked with Tim Burton and was very well liked). -

Say what you will and point out the facts and still these people will disregard anything you have to say. THey have "their truthsbeliefs". They do not care about the facts.
Save your breath. Your post has been handily ignored. -

Holly was an excellent player and was a demanding and exacting project manager But she was a turn-coating bitch and a control freak. I was relieved when Bret Michaels won.

21 Jump Street was a very popular sitcom especially if you were a teenager back then from 1987-1992. Hangin' With Mr Cooper was an extra solid tv sitcom as well. I never watched For Your Love but it lasted 5 seasons. Holly has put it down in the television world. She's far from a nobody
