Has anyone ever heard of it?

The Beatles didn't perpetrate the hoax. Lennon, usually reliable on these things, in The Playboy interview that appeared after he died(yes, he's really dead) says they didn't start it, "We wouldn't be so vulgar".

Who but the Beatles themselves could have put all those "clues" on their album covers, into their lyrics, in the background of the songs?
But I don't blame the Beatles for denying it all. There's no satisfaction in admitting the truth of the situation. As Lennon said in Cry, Baby, Cry, it was voices out of nowhere, put on 'specially by the children, for a lark.

If you look hard, you would find similar glues too, like George was actually a woman, Ringo did not replace Pete and that Lennon's twin brotha occasionally was used as a double. It's all sheer UFO sighting.

Sorry guys, I don't buy any of it for a second. I don't believe that what you guys are calling "clues" are "clues" at all. I remember in 1967 or 1968, whenever it was, when we started hearing those rumors, we started scouring "Sgt Pepper" and "Magical Mystery Tour" for clues and I can assure you we found dozens of them. Probably some that you guys have never even heard of before. This is precisely how these rumors spread. Vivid imaginations.
It's fun game but in the end, it is of no consequence, it's just a game. It was not a plot by the Beatles.

The interpretation of the "Abbey Road" album cover symbolized a funeral procession, where Lennon, dressed in white, symbolized the clergyman or heavenly figure. Ringo Starr, dressed in black, symbolized the undertaker or mourner. George Harrison, in denim jeans and shirt, symbolized the gravedigger and McCartney, barefoot and out of step with other members of the band, symbolized the corpse.
Another clue is the words spoken by John Lennon in the final section of the song "Strawberry Fields Forever" are "I buried Paul". Lennon later explained the words were actually "cranberry sauce". -

If anyone still wants to kick this around, the following site does have enough stuff in it to make me rub my chin and say, "Hmmm what if?" Not claiming Paul Is Dead, but the site does raise a couple of interesting questions and issues -

I'd love some scholars on here to select a few points and refute them if they are refutable.
