Looks like Kirk got fired from Fringe

The ALMA is an award for hispanic/latino actors. He was underused on Fringe anyway he was more charismastic and talented than the Cate Blanchett clone or Pacey Whitter. My God the lead actress on the show has one facial expression on her face and the same tone in her voice. And Pacey Whitter's performance consists of mugging for the camera and clever, gee aren't I cute sarcastic quips. Fringe is just a poor man's X Files. It's a credit to Kirk's talent that he can make such a big impression with so little screentime.

Yeah I started watching it because of Kirk himself, as well as Lance Reddick and because I'd heard some of the LOST crew were in on it. I love LOST. Anyway, I couldn't get into this, mainly because I found all the characters's (other than Kirk's character) uninteresting. I think what really ruined it for me though was the woman in the lead role. I just think she's awful.
Last 2 films watched:-- The Wrestler (2008) - 8/10
- Tombstone (1993) - 1/10

Yes, Anna Torv is awful, the show is basically an X Files retread. Lance Reddick is great too. The problem with Fringe is that the supporting characters Kirk Acevedo and Lance Reddick are more interesting than the main characters. But any show that gives some work to an underrated actress like Trini Alvarado can't be all bad.

No kidding! Fringe may be an X-files retread but at least it's more interesting to watch than almost anything else on TV right nowincluding anything on Fox. Anna Torv is perfect for this great show!
