She is the one woman who snagged him, and he will never re-marry.

Maybe she is the only woman he has ever loved but he cheated on her so she left him and he still pines for her? We don't know what happened in their marriage. She could have been the one snagged. George has said several times that he has slept with too many women, done too many drugs and partying (see Wikipedia for this info). I think it is unfair to assume she ruin him for some reason. Afterall, she has been married to the same guy since 1998. It would appear that she wants to be settled down and George still does not.

You're taking this quote out of context.
George Clooney made this comment as a joke, when asked if he would run for office. The joke being that once someone runs for office, they immediately go digging in your past. It's like a pun.
I remember reading that George said that he was just 'not good' at being married. That could mean anything. Maybe he's too selfish to compromise in a commited relationship and wants to do his own thing.

I also recall George Clooney saying he would never marry again nor would he consider children because being a spouse and a parent are jobs that he considers far too important and that he's simply not willing to do such an important job. I think it takes real balls to admit that about yourself and be true to the person you are.

I guess, I could give him credit for being truthful, if he was being truthful, but I don't think it takes much courage to be forever selfish, never putting anyone ahead of yourself However, Clooney is one of my favorite actors, his characters, whether hero or villain, are always very cool, hard not to like the guy
